Frequently asked questions

Q. Can the Silent Gliss Autoglide track be bent?
A. Yes, we can do it for a small surcharge - please get in touch with us for more details.

Q. Are curtains supplied with the track?
A. No - the products supplied are the curtain track systems, allowing you hang your own choice of curtain. You can use standard curtains, with standard curtain hooks, unless you order the Silent Gliss Wave Header system, in which case your curtains will need special Silent Gliss Wave Header tape. Of course we can custom make curtains to suit your silent gliss system.

Q. Do you supply electric curtain hooks? If not, which Silent Gliss curtain hooks are recommended?
A.  Standard curtain hooks work perfectly well with the track and there is no specific hook recommended. Hooks are not supplied with the tracks.

Q. How long will it take to receive my order?
A.  Battery operated blinds Approximately 1 weeks. Hardwired moterised blinds 2 ro 3 weeks.

Q. Can you supply spare parts for Electric Curtain tracks?
A. If it is a Silent Gliss track, we should be able to get what you might be looking for as there is a 10 year guarantee with our products. 

Q. Do you supply wall fixing brackets?
A. Brackets are supplied 100mm in from each end, then another bracket every 300mm – 500mm intervals. Extra brackets can be supplied if required.

Q. What colours do you supply in?
A. Silent Gliss manufacture their products in white and some colours depending on the range. 

Q. What weight curtains can these tracks support?
A. The Autoglide 5090 series can support up to 15kg if straight, up to 10kg if bent. 10-15kg includes most light to medium weight domestic curtains. The 5200 and 5400 can support even greater weights.
