 Castlewellan living room Did we mention we were over the moon to be asked to work with Andrews construction on this 3 bed showhouse in Celbridge ? The 3 bed showhouse was fitted out from top to toe by the Wildthings team. Generous room sizes and a good budget meant we could adorn the walls with limited edition prints making it unique. All furnishings were custom made and we used accent colours against a neutral wall colour throughout ... We use colour carefully to reflect nature and you might notice mirrors ... lots of them. Are there ever enough ? Lets talk mostly about the mirrors .  Round mirrors with a leather strap were fitted each side of the chimney breast .The pewter hooks were a great option and make them look even better. See how the mirrored candle sconces are reflected giving them more impact ? Hang them with the centre of the mirror at eye level.  The round mirror here in the kitchen compliments the pocket wall clock ,the light fitting and the round side tables . I just love how the palm is reflected in it. Very exotic .... and those little birds ... we can almost hear them sing .  Definitely on a round mirror binge on this project . How about this one ? Again its hanging from a pewter hook giving it a more professional fit .   The main bathroom mirror is a large round silver, slim frame modern diva. Think beach house vibes. Check out that fabulous shutter too. Shutters are my favourite thing to use on bathroom windows.   These soft wall mounted animal heads make a big impact in any space. We used George the elephant and Danni the zebra here. The art deco mirror is perfect over the grey chest of drawers. The cheeky monkey on the wall is a limited edition print and he has 3 other friends . Framed in bespoke grey frames and grey mounts. Definitely a wild bunch in here!  This oval free standing mirror is my absolute favourite . I lose 20lbs just by looking in it :) Definitely need to get one of those . And there over my shoulder is my favourite piece of art . Maybe i will just move in to Castlewellan Park myself .
