Many of you have asked for tablescape styling tips for every day dining and some to add a special touch to special occasions like Christmas . Our advice is to use what you have all year round and embellish the table to suit the occasion . We are not fans of over fussy tablescapes and love ours to be practical as well as beautiful . As with all our interior projects dressing the table is no different . Start with great neutral basics like linen tablecloths and napkins . These can be used everyday & are easy to wash. Build up a collection of napkins over time and add red ones to dress a Christmas table . There is no need to over invest in Christmas specific table ware . The trimmed napkin and tablecloth shown are perfect dining partners . A white dining set will always make a tablescape look special. Silver cutlery sets with bone handles and embellished details add a layer of antiquity and timeless feel to a space . Group candles in various heights and group on trays to keep your table tidy . Unscented long burn candles are best as they don't interfere with the smell and taste of food. Candle light adds ambience and elegance to a dining experience too. We love these rustic candles in frosty tones of grey and white . Add some colour if it suits your style, with some gorgeous drinking glasses and choose from a huge range of glass candlesticks or colourful glass stem vases and bottles . Add seasonal details like red napkins & simply add greenery, berries and flower stems for Christmas. Trays can be used to group drinks or style them with vases , candles and cutlery . Whatever the occasion or style you choose . Keep things simple, don't overthink it, have fun and enjoy your meal .
