We all love mirrors. The amount of times we hear clients say "I've a thing about mirrors"! Over the years we have sourced and sold all shapes and sizes. Without them how would we leave the house in one piece? How would we take great selfies? What would the fashion bloggers do? We recently finished a project and put amazing mirrors in every room. Some rooms even got two. Our client loved them but reckoned he would have to live in the gym if he was going to be seeing so much of himself. Fact is that we get used to them and unless you stop and look they just become part of the overall decor & enhance the space as they are meant to. We all know that mirrors are great reflectors of light and make our space look bigger. I love using them on a wall where there is no window . Use small to medium sized mirrors in groups of two or three to create the illusion of little windows. Another great way to use mirrors is to place a large mirror opposite a window to reflect a view. Have a look at the images below for some mirror ideas and how to hang them.  These venetian shaped mirrors are one of the hottest trends for 2016. They are featured on all the best interior websites eg houzz and pinterest Used singly in a bathrooms they look great too. Or how about these round rope mirrors? These are a huge trend this year and are available in many variations. I like the idea of using these in groups too.   This grey wall mirror with oval insert was the perfect choice for over the sofa. the mirror was centered on the wall facing the door.  Mirror grey with oval insert €425 This grey painted mirror with crest was placed opposite a window in a kitchen. The kitchen is "French grey" from The Little Green paint co and these French style mirrors work particularly well with it.  French grey mirror €175  The Venetian mirror with gold edges below would look great alone or in groups . The grey painted is big enough to enhance a large bare wall . The Antique white long dressing mirror is available in a few colours and is the perfect choice for landings or bedrooms. We often use them sideways over a bed or sofa and even used one as a headboard.
