Shutters in Dublin

BEFORE................

Here we are again, talking about shutters. This is a window in an attic room. The only place to put the fabulous bed was in front of the window. Nothing wrong with the scene so far, in fact the whole picture would be brilliant except for the window.

The client asked for a Roman Blind or curtains on the window but I was sure and certain that it would not solve the problem, or make the picture any prettier in this case. (Nothing against "THE ROMANS" of course )...... & I do love curtains.



So, what was the solution?

Given that the client obviously has great taste, I suggested a shutter & she immediately said yes. In Fact over the phone we agreed & we just chose the colour from our whites & creams range. Ordered, delivered & installed. A model client!!

Now, so what do you think of the after picture? I love it & so does the client. Do you agree it was a good choice ?
