Tilt and turn windows? We have a solution. They are often fitted without thought to the type of window dressing that can be used. Often curtains cant be fitted to these windows. However there are lots of window blinds available to suit such frames. Venetians, rollers and pleated. Tilt and turn window blinds or INTU blinds fit into the inside frame or beading in most modern windows. No screws or drills needed. They fit neatly to the window and are operated up and down by an integrated handle that when closed minimizes the amount of light getting through. They are so easy to use , just lift the bottom rail and raise up or down. They are totally blackout when suitable fabrics are used. They are completely child safe, most with no hanging cords or loops. The INTU roller fascia and frames available in 3 colours give a streamlined clean finish. The options are white , silver or brown. The roller fabric is hidden and disappears neatly into the fascia frame or pelmet. As well as being suitable for tilt and turn windows , they are ideal for doors. An operating rod is available for out of reach windows. The INTU cellular or pleated blinds, and the aluminium venetians are available with a top down or bottom up action. The roller fabrics and pleated are available in blackout and fire retardant fabrics. Pleated INTU blinds come in a vast array of colours. Some have solar backing conserving heat loss and offer protection from harmful uv rays. The fire retardant range is suitable for contract use. Also available in blackout fabric. This range is particularly suitable for conservatories. This image shows the top down , bottom up option or "multizone" to use the correct term. This conservatory shows the multiple benefits of the INTU system. One of the most innovative blinds on the market, we love it as it finally sorts the problems of the tilt and turn windows , and for its ease of use.
